Skandy is AI Integrity & Intelligence Platform that helps educators, businesses, researchers, and content teams verify originality, detect AI-generated content, analyze documents, and make more informed decisions about content authenticity.

Our Services may evolve over time as we continue to develop new technologies, models, APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities.

You may use the Services only if:

• you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
• your use complies with applicable laws and regulations;
• you do not use the Services for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful purposes.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

The Skandy name, logo, platform design, proprietary technologies, AI systems, models, software, visual assets, workflows, and related branding elements are owned by Skandy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
“Skandy” and related brand assets may be protected trademarks in certain jurisdictions.

You may not:

• copy or imitate our branding;
• use confusingly similar names, domains, or visual identities;
• reverse engineer proprietary systems where prohibited by law;
• reproduce or commercially exploit platform content without written permission.

SKANDY® and associated logos, product names, slogans, and visual identifiers are proprietary trademarks or registered trademarks of Skandy and/or its affiliated entities.
Unauthorised use of our trademarks, branding, or confusingly similar identifiers may violate trademark, unfair competition, and intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you upload, submit, or analyse using the Services (“User Content”).
By using the Services, you grant Skandy a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyse, store, and display User Content solely for:

• providing the Services;
• improving platform functionality;
• detecting abuse, fraud, or misuse;
• maintaining security and operational integrity.

We do not claim ownership over your original content.

Skandy uses machine learning and AI-based systems that may generate probabilistic or imperfect results.
You acknowledge that:

• AI detection and originality analysis are not guaranteed to be fully accurate;
• results should not be interpreted as definitive factual conclusions;
• human review and independent judgment remain important.

Skandy does not guarantee:

• uninterrupted availability;
• error-free analysis;
• complete detection of plagiarism, AI-generated content, or manipulation.

Educational institutions, businesses, and users are responsible for making their own decisions based on platform outputs.

You agree not to:

• use the Services for unlawful purposes;
• upload malicious code or harmful material;
• attempt to disrupt platform security;
• scrape or automate access without permission;
• abuse APIs or system resources;
• use the Services to infringe copyright or intellectual property rights;
• attempt to train competing AI systems using our outputs, datasets, or proprietary workflows.

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated through content hosted or processed via Skandy, please contact: legal@skandy.co

Your notice should include:

• identification of the copyrighted work;
• identification of allegedly infringing material;
• your contact information;
• a good-faith statement of ownership.
• We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to content where appropriate.

Certain Services may require:

• account registration;
• paid subscriptions;
• usage-based credits;
• API access permissions.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining account security;
• safeguarding login credentials;
• activities conducted under your account.
• Fees, billing cycles, refunds, and subscription terms may be governed by separate pricing or commercial agreements.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time without liability.
We reserve the right to:

• introduce new features;
• change pricing;
• impose usage limitations;
• remove abusive accounts

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skandy shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential damages;
• loss of profits, business, reputation, or data;
• decisions made based on AI-generated outputs;
• temporary outages or technical interruptions.
• The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that certain technical and operational data may be processed to provide and improve platform functionality.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Services complies with local laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the Services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
